Eva and Mia are sisters. Mia is cheerful and open. She has Down syndrome, doesn't care about fashion and loves people — especially boys. Eva is less cheerful; she works and travels a lot, and doesn't have a boyfriend. Mia can't wrap her head around that.
Eva’s cinematographic examination of their sisterhood lasted for ten years, in an effort to gain a better understanding of their own similarities and differences. The result is an intimate and poetic portrait of the two sisters, filled with laughter, shame, and the desire to overcome the bourgeois sensibilities that inhibit sisterly love.
